Antwerp - dgtgroup, a leading provider of digital signage and smart office solutions, is proud to announce that Dutch companies NFGD and TSS have joined the group. This expansion brings dgtgroup to 120 employees and raises its combined annual turnover to approximately €40 million.
With this strategic move, dgtgroup strengthens its presence in the Netherlands and underscores its ambition to further expand its leading position in the Benelux. This acquisition firmly anchors the group along the key Antwerp–The Hague axis.
The addition of NFGD enables dgtgroup to expand its services to include high-quality, integrated audiovisual solutions for complex AV/ICT installations, rental of temporary AV equipment, interpreting services, and facilities for live productions and streaming. This positions the group to offer an even broader range of solutions to customers in the Benelux.
The acquisition of TSS also marks dgtgroup’s entry into the Dutch digital signage market. dgtgroup’s service and support offering will also be expanded to provide Dutch customers with comprehensive support. The group continues to build on its long-standing experience with As-a-Service models, offering innovative and flexible solutions based on proprietary software tools – targeting government agencies and businesses in the Netherlands and beyond.
This strategic expansion not only strengthens dgtgroup’s position in the Benelux market but also underscores its ambition to remain a leading player in the audiovisual and ICT sectors in the coming years. dgtgroup remains deeply committed to its customer base and looks forward to further development opportunities.
Jan Bussels, CEO of dgtgroup:
“To me, entrepreneurship is about bringing people together, united by a shared ambition. That is exactly what is happening here. We strengthen each other without losing our individuality. NFGD and TSS share our entrepreneurial spirit and passion for technology. We grow together – with a focus on quality, customer value and long-term thinking. This expansion is not an endpoint, but a logical next step in a larger story.”
Both Dutch companies will continue to operate under their own names and retain their trusted teams. Within dgtgroup, they will have the freedom to grow even further, share knowledge and collaborate on innovative solutions for customers across the Benelux.
François Hobma, NFGD:
“We strongly believe in collaboration and sharing expertise. By joining dgtgroup, we become part of a larger family with a shared passion for quality and customer focus. At the same time, we remain true to who we are, with room for individual initiative and entrepreneurship – values I am proud to be part of and confident will drive further development and expansion in the Benelux.”
Michel Bons, TSS:
“This move enables us to serve our customers even better. There is strong complementarity with the other companies within dgtgroup, and the network offers numerous opportunities for innovation, growth and collaborative projects.”
Bart Cauberghe, Thomas Dewever, and Davy Louwers, Smile Invest:
“This expansion aligns perfectly with our strategy to invest in strong, complementary businesses that together create added value. We believe in the potential of an integrated Benelux approach and are confident that, through this step, dgtgroup occupies a unique position in the market. Our role is to support that growth sustainably, while safeguarding the entrepreneurial spirit of each team within the group.”
dgtgroup emerged from the collaboration between Digitopia, Centomedia, Aviniti and ThisPlays2, and is supported by long-term Benelux investor Smile Invest, which acquired a majority stake earlier this year. The group remains open to companies that share its vision of technology, innovation, and customer experience, and wish to contribute to building a strong collective.
